About the partnership with Witteveen+Bos
Witteveen+Bos is part of a consortium of companies selected to design and construct the Netherlands Pavilion at the Expo 2020 in Dubai. Witteveen+Bos was responsible for the integral engineering, building physics and sustainable aspects of the Netherlands Pavilion. This included the indoor climate system, which is at the core of the pavilion experience.
Witteveen+Bos offers consultancy and engineering services for water, infrastructure, environment and construction projects. With over 1,300 employees, the firm primarily focuses on complex projects requiring high-quality knowledge and an integrated approach. We strongly believe in a multidisciplinary approach, during which specialists in various disciplines work together intensively. The quality characteristics of being reliable, committed and an expert, typify Witteveen+Bos.
Witteveen+Bos has a unique ownership structure, whereby the shares are fully in the hands of its employees. Clients include government organisations, the business community and partnerships. Clients are served from the head office in Deventer, seven other Dutch offices and international offices in Belgium, Dubai, Ghana, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Panama, Singapore, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
The Dubai office opened in 2014 to serve markets in the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa, where Witteveen+Bos has been active for over 25 years. The region faces challenges in dealing with water
shortages, environmental pollution and rapid urbanization, as well as in securing energy supplies and providing an adequate transport infrastructure. From our Dubai office, we offer solutions to these challenges.
