The Dutch pavilion is designed as a biotope, a circular climate system that brings together Dutch innovative solutions to unite water, energy and food.
Expected to attract 25 million visits from 192 nations between 1 October 2021 and 31 March 2022, the World Expo in the United Arab Emirates is set to make history. These numbers alone make Expo 2020 Dubai the ideal stage for ambitious Dutch businesses and organisations.
Almost 70% of the Dutch pavilion is already in place! The raw construction is now almost complete. This forms an important part of the building, on view to all visitors during Expo 2020.
From 1 October 2021 until 31 March 2022, the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will unite the ideas of 192 countries (a record!) in an area spanning 4.5 square kilometres. Expo 2020 Dubai is the first Expo to take place in the Middle East and it is expected to attract millions of visits. Approximately 70% of its visitors are projected to come from outside the UAE.
