From 1 October 2021 until 31 March 2022, the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will unite the ideas of 192 countries (a record!) in an area spanning 4.5 square kilometres. Expo 2020 Dubai is the first Expo to take place in the Middle East and it is expected to attract 25 million visits. Approximately 70% of its visitors are projected to come from outside the UAE.
In line with the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’ the countries will present ideas, innovations and technologies with a link to the Sustainable Development Goals. Walking through the futuristic grounds, you will experience 28,000 square metres of exhibition halls, a rotating observation tower and a 360-degree projection on the world’s biggest steel dome.
